Decision guide

A short, honest guide.

Lean rejuvenation

Shingles are faded and gritty in the gutters, the roof is somewhere in the middle of its life, and nothing is leaking.

Lean replacement

Water stains on the ceiling, soft spots when you walk the roof, or shingles lifting and cracking after every winter.

Not sure

That is most people. Book the inspection. You get both numbers in writing and Eric's recommendation.

A roof on a north-facing slope under the pines in Sutton ages differently from one in full sun in Bow. That is why we don't quote from satellite photos.

Option A

Roof Rejuvenation

A ShingleLock treatment sprayed onto your existing asphalt shingles. It restores flexibility and granule adhesion so an aging roof keeps doing its job for years longer.

Right for
Roofs that are dry, faded and shedding granules, but still have sound decking and no active leaks.
Investment
Around $3,000 for a typical home. Final number after inspection.
Time on site
About three hours. No tear-off.
Financing
Available. Options go over at the inspection.

Option B

Full Replacement

Tear-off down to the decking, repairs to anything soft underneath, then new architectural shingles installed by the same crew.

Right for
Roofs with leaks, rot, failed decking, structural issues, or shingles curled past the point of recovery.
Investment
Quoted after inspection as a written range for your roof. Never a number off a phone call.
Time on site
Typically one to a few days, depending on size and pitch.
Financing
Available. Options go over at the inspection.

Questions

Common questions.

Does my roof need replacing or can it be rejuvenated?

It depends on what the inspection finds. If the shingles are dry and shedding granules but the decking is sound and there are no active leaks, rejuvenation usually makes sense. If there is rot, active leaking, or shingles curled past recovery, replacement is the right call. You get both numbers in writing either way.

What does roof rejuvenation cost?

Around $3,000 for a typical home. The final number comes after the inspection, once we have measured the roof and seen its condition.

How long does rejuvenation take?

About three hours on site for a typical home. There is no tear-off and no dumpster in the driveway.

Is ShingleLock tested?

Yes. ShingleLock was independently tested by PRI (Performance Review Institute). PRI testing showed a 100% pliability improvement and up to 50% improvement in granule adhesion. It carries a 6-year transferable warranty.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing is available on both rejuvenation and replacement. Eric goes over the options at the inspection and puts them in writing beside the quote.

What towns do you serve?

Hopkinton, Contoocook, Concord and the surrounding towns across Merrimack County and central New Hampshire, including Henniker, Warner, Bow, New London and Sunapee.

Free inspection

Get both numbers before you decide.

Eric walks the roof, photographs what he finds, and gives you a written rejuvenation number and a written replacement number. Then he tells you which one he would pick.
